As of this week, the ongoing “Art Workshop for Children” at the Refugees Association was moved to Zübeyde Hanım Elementary School in which Turkish and Syrian children have been taking education located in Sultanbeyli. At first, the children gathered in the school library, were ensured that they are ready for the event by the distribution of the association’s t-shirts. Throughout the workshop, children made hand puppets by using materials such as colorful socks, beads, cardboards etc. and had fun by making those puppets talk. Thus, children having the opportunity to communicate each other in different ways, found the chance to have fun and to know each other better as well.
Events carrying out with the support of Welthungerhilfe, will continue to be organized in order to promote social cohesion for different target groups.
