Providing Integrated Social Services to Refugees and the Local Population
The project, which started as a Community Center Project under the donation of GIZ in 2014, is now being carried out in partnership with GIZ, donated by BMZ and ECHO. The project provides services in areas based on protection and social cohesion.
Activities:
- To contribute to the development of cultural dialogue between the local people and refugees living in Sultanbeyli by making use of positive interaction opportunities in Community Center activities and social cohesion activities,
- Providing access to services by improving the life quality of vulnerable groups at risk in the refugee community living in Sultanbeyli through Community Center activities,
- Strengthening the resilience and capabilities of beneficiaries through seminars and information sessions,
- Facilitating social cohesion, access to the labor market and increasing resilience capacity through increased Turkish language skills,
- Mentoring Program and Peer Support Network.

Protection and Livelihoods Project
Within the scope of the protection and livelihoods project carried out with the support of UNHCR, efforts are being carried out to provide support to asylum seekers related to the problems they face, to reach the relevant service mechanisms and to strengthen the asylum seeker community.
Activities:
- Conducting sensitivity detection, information and guidance studies through home visits and interviews conducted at the association,
- To carry out case management related to the identified sensitivities,
- To carry out case management regarding child protection cases in a way that considers the high benefit of the child,
- To empower individuals with vocational training and courses, to provide consultancy in job search and deceleration processes.

It aims to provide holistic protection services for refugee groups in Istanbul Umraniye and its surrounding districts. It is carried out with the partnership of Welthungerhilfe, under the sponsorship of ECHO.
Activities:
- Determining the need for protection of adults and children and conducting case management for identified risk situations,
- Facilitating the access of adults and children to family counseling and child protection services,
- Provision of legal advice for adults and children,
- Conducting individual psychological counseling services for adults and children,
- Strengthening the well-being of adults and children through psycho-education and group work,
- Increasing the level of knowledge and awareness of people through trainings and seminars within the scope of community-based protection activities.

Maternal and Infant Health Project
It is planned to provide comprehensive trainings to mothers and mums-to-be in areas related to infant care and development, raise awareness of families and raise awareness in areas where they are missing. The organized trainings are reinforced with activities and field studies and it is aimed that the knowledge gained by the beneficiaries will be permanent.
Activities:
- Guiding the mother about mental health, nutrition and baby care in the process after birth,
- To support the creation of a healthy society by following the development of the baby,
- Introducing toys and activities suitable for the development of the baby to the family,
- Raising women's awareness about sexual and reproductive health issues,
- Raise awareness about the puberty and changes in the body and strengthen them by educating
- Providing close defense trainings to young girls and women at a basic level,

The Future Designers Project
Developing the scientific, technological, cognitive and social skills of the local and asylum-seeking children and youth living in Sancaktepe, Kartal and Pendik on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, in Sultanbeyli district and the surrounding districts in accordance with the requirements of the age, by supporting their well-being and being beneficial individuals for the society in the medium and long-term economic and long-term It is aimed to realize their potential in a way that will guide the transformation in the social structure, to ensure that they are equipped individuals and to provide equality of opportunity by eliminating their disadvantages.
Activities:
- To establish an ArtLab for children and young people to use and learn 3D Drawing, Visual Effects Programs, Design-Oriented Thinking, Digital Collage and Photo-Manipulation,
- Creating a MakerLab that children and teenagers will use and learn Robotic Coding, Algorithm, Arduino, Scratch, Scratch JR, Computerless Robotic Coding,
- Preparing and implementing a STEM education curriculum aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of preschool children through creative and innovative methods with STEM education for preschool children

The STRENGTHS Project
The STRENGTHS Project is funded by the Horizon 2020 European Union program. The project is being carried out in cooperation with Koç University and the Refugees Association. It aims to provide effective community-based health implementation strategies to scale up the delivery and uptake of effective mental health interventions in different country contexts.
Activities:
- Determining the necessary steps to integrate Problem Management+(PM+) into the health system,
- Adaptation of PM+ and PM+ educational materials to beneficiaries,
- Scaling PM+,
- Determining the implementation and investment cost of PM+,
- Ensuring the dissemination of PM+ based on output (evidence),
- PM+ group therapies for Turkey (Refugees Association).

The Resilience (RESLOG) Project

Pre-School Education Project
In the project which was funded by IDRF and Refugee Girls; educations are given to pre-school students in 5 different stations for their self-development and integration to cultural interactions.
