Turkish and Syrian children met in the same rhythms

The second Rhythm Workshop was held with the participation of 36 Turkish and Syrian children, between the ages of 7 and 14. This gathering was made possible with the cooperation of the Refugees Association, Blue Crescent Foundation and Nursery Association / Flying Library. The children who came to the workshop introduced themselves to each other, while sitting on chairs, under the trees in the garden of the Refugee Association Preschool.

Darbuka, tambourine and maracas were distributed to all children. The children who try to keep rhythm in small groups with the guidance of the instructor follow the command given together afterwards. In the work done with the support of Welthungerhilfe, children adapt to the rhythm of music all together. We believe that similar workshops will contribute to the social adaptation of children in the two different communities living in Sultanbeyli.
