We went to Nezahat Gökyiğit Botenical Garden with the children in the second week of the project “My Sweetgum Is Turning Green”. The week started with the naming exercises and the lesson went on in the outside. The children were divided into two groups and tried to feel the nature with five sense organs closing their eyes.
Diversities Are All Together
Children returned back to the classroom and drew something on paper which is particular to their countries according to the topic given and all of these different drawings were pieced together which also formed a common ground.
The Uniting Power of Nature
We finished this week’s training remembering that each of us is the part of the nature which has a unifying power regardless of culture, color, and country we come from.
