We made a kite workshop on the request of the Refugee Training Center students. In this context, we visited the Kite Museum in Üsküdar, which is showing the distinction of being the only kite museum was carried out in Turkey, with International Blue Crescent Foundation supports and participation.
Kite Museum Program
The kids had the opportunity to spend fun and quality time by seeing, touching, practicing and listening to the guide teachers in the fun kite museum program, which lasted about half an hour with theatrical and interactive narration. Then, during the half-hour workshop, students who choose patterns from different alternate patterned papers are given their own kites by giving scissors, sticks, tape.
Children Very Happy to Make Kites
Every student who finished the workshop was applauded and congratulated, while the “certificate of appreciation” were added to the kite bags given to them at the time to leave as memories of the day. Children who enjoy various kite models in many different countries are very happy to make kites.
Social harmonization activities with the support of Welthungerhilfe will continue to bring children together at different events.
