The “Child Caravan” project, aimed at the education and personal development of disadvantaged children, was launched with the Penny Appeal Foundation, International Blue Crescent Foundation and Refugees Association, where Yusuf Islam is the manager. The opening ceremony held in the garden of the Refugee Society Community Center Building was attended by Sultanbeyli Municipality Vice President, association directors and a large number of guests.
Children’s caravans will provide children with language training, they will watch cartoon and children’s documentaries, personal hygiene and nature conservation will be topics adressed. Health and hygiene education and psychological support will be provided to young people and women through trainings, functional games and multimedia visuals. The attending persons wll also be prepared emotionally to everyday life in Turkey.
