We ended our nine-week-long choral lesson with 20 Syrian children studying at Yıldırım Beyazit School with a concert accompanied by Grup Kıyam. The fact that a Turkish group gave concerts with Syrian children was highly valued in terms of the coexistence of different cultures.
We believe that it is an important step for social harmony that Turkish and Syrian children who are studying in different classes in the same school can meet in common places and listen together to concerts. We hope that the universal language of music will embrace all children and accompany them throughout their lives.
