Children have met up in Drama workshop. At the beginning of the workshop participants played some children’s plays which had been structured to improve their harmony and empathy. Afterwards children tried to remember what they did from yesterday until arriving this workshop space. They also tried to feel what they smelled, tested and heared. Finally they told their memories, which are so important for them, each other in groups of two. Each group member visualized the memory of her/his peer as painting. Afterwards, each participant tried to find her or his memory. Facilitative questions which were followed up in the workshop are “What do you feel that another person visualized your memory?”, “How many look like your memory and the painting on the wall?”, “How much our peer whom we told our memory understood us?” Participants have also tried forum theater technique, which had been developed by Augusto Boal, in role-playing. They’ve tried to strengthen the position of Oppressed in oppressed-oppressor conflict.
These workshops will carry on with various topics and achievements.
