At the Sultanbeyli Community Center of Refugees Association, workshops in several fields are being carried out for both Turks and Syrians. These studies, aiming to increase social cohesion, proficiency and to teach Turkish, are listed below. In order to be registered, it is necessary to come to our community center in person.
The 6-month long construction workshop is funded by German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. Course module of the workshop is determined by Vesbe, a German organization for vocational training. Trainees are taking their hands-on training in the Construction workshop class at the Refugees Association. Turkish citizens and Syrians between the ages of 16-36 can attend this workshop.
At the computer workshop, realizing with the cooperation of İşkur and Sultanbeyli Public Education Center, basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Office programs are being taught to the participants. The workshop is available to Turkish and Syrian participants. Applications for registration should be done in person at the Refugees Association.
Trainings are given for 4 months at the sewing workshop with the curriculum of the Public Education Center. Participants improve their vocational skills by putting into practice with the materials in the workshop. Since there is a high need for staff in the textile sector at both local and national labor market, demand for this workshop is considerably high. Applications for registration should be done in person at the Refugees Association.
The coiffeur workshop that is planned to open under the partnership of İşkur and Publich Education Center are available to Turks and Syrians. For registration, please visit our office in person.
At the workshop, guitar is taught as an instrument collectively. In addition to guitar, trainees can also exercise with other musical instruments in the workshop.
